I released Episode 3 of Tweet Week today and I must say I am really enjoying producing this weekly web-series. The Twitter support has been incredible and I thank everyone for being so encouraging, supportive and helpful in keeping the show going and helping me make it better each week through your feedback.
On that note, I would like to rave about Blip.tv for a moment. Not just because they featured me on their front page "Hot Episodes" section today (@bliptv Thanks!), but more so, because the Blip.tv platform is incredible.
I never really paid much attention to Blip.tv until recently, when it came up in a search result during a search on how to submit my Tweet Week video-series as a podcast on iTunes. I found out that Blip.tv is a great way to do that. iTunes does not accept the RSS feeds that YouTube (and other video hosting sites) provide for your channel, but Blip.tv creates a special iTunes-compatible RSS feed for your content.
Furthermore, the options to customize your content's appearance and the way it's delivered by Blip.tv is also impressive. From being able to edit advanced details of your show's player, to having the options to integrate your Blip channel with your delicious, flickr, twitter, and so many other social networks - it feels really good to be able to truely make it your own, in a way no other video sharing site does.
Because of this, Blip.tv is great for web shows. So, if you have a web show on YouTube or somewhere else, put it up on Blip.tv as well... it is absolutely worth it.
