My colleague Yianni Garcia and I submitted a video for Embarq's YouTube Contest today. So what is this contest all about? Well, apparently Embarq's high-speed internet is 48 seconds faster than dial up--which begs the question, what would you do with 48 seconds? After all submissions are in, users will vote to pick the winning video, and the grand prize winner will receive $5,000 and a year of free Embarq High-Speed Internet.
Yianni and I used this opportunity to tell people, in 48 seconds, why they should register to vote. Plus, heck, we could win $5,000 and free internet for a year. Take that recession!
